# Move funds and send money

> How your Liquid balance works, how to move funds between accounts, and how to send money to another Liquid user.

## Your Liquid balance

Most accounts are **unified**: one USDC balance backs spot, perps, prediction markets, and every stock, FX, and commodity market. You don't have to move money before you trade a different market.

On web, you can check this in **Settings** → **Trading** → **Unified account**.

## Move funds between accounts

[Liquid Earn](/earn/what-is-liquid-earn) vaults also hold their own balance.

    On **Home**, tap **CASH BALANCE**, then **Transfer**. Pick the account to move from and the account to move to, enter the amount, and confirm.

    You can move between **Liquid**, **Stocks**, and **Vault**. If your account isn't unified, you also see **Liquid Spot** and **HL Stocks**.

    Click your avatar in the top bar. Click the **Liquid Balance** or **Arbitrum Balance** row to move funds between your Liquid balance and your wallet on Arbitrum.

    Moving from Arbitrum to Liquid needs at least \$15. Moving from Liquid to Arbitrum needs at least \$5, costs \$1, and takes about 20 minutes.

## Send money to another user

You can send USDC to any Liquid user from their [profile](/social/leaderboard-and-profiles).

    Find them on the **Leaderboard**, in your feed, or with search, and open their profile.

  <Step title="Tap Send Money">
    Tap **Send Money** and enter the amount.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Preview and confirm">
    Tap **Preview**, check the recipient, then tap **Confirm**.

<Warning>Sends are instant and can't be reversed. Check the username before you confirm.</Warning>

Send Money isn't available in paper trading mode or on your own profile.
