# Co-Invest Computer

> Let AI agents like Claude Code, Codex, Hermes, and Cursor trade on Liquid within limits you set.

Co-Invest Computer is a version of [Co-Invest](/co-invest/overview) built for agents that work on their own, like coding agents in your terminal. Instead of showing a confirmation card for each trade, it places the orders you ask for, or trades on its own within a limit you set.

It's free. You pay your AI provider for the model and Liquid's normal [trading fees](/trading/fees).

## Modes

* **Paper:** the agent trades a simulated balance, like [paper trading](/trading/paper-trading). Start here.
* **On request:** the agent places the orders you explicitly ask for.
* **Automated:** after you set a limit, the agent can place orders on its own within it.

## Limits for automated trading

When you turn on automated trading, you set:

* **Maximum notional per order.** A basket of orders can go up to 5× this amount.
* **Expiry.** Automated trading switches off after the time you choose, up to 7 days.

Orders with a stop loss on the wrong side of the entry price are blocked.

Ask the agent to turn off automated trading, or remove the connector, at any time. Like standard Co-Invest, it can't withdraw or transfer funds.

<Warning>In on-request and automated modes, the agent places real orders without a confirmation card. Use paper mode until you trust your setup, and keep the notional limit small.</Warning>
