# Feed and news

> Follow other traders' moves in real time, copy a trade in one tap, and trade the news.

## Open the feed

    Tap the **Feed** tab. Switch between **Global** (everyone's trades), **Following** (traders you follow), and **News** (market headlines).

    The **Feed** and **News** panel sits next to the chart on the trading screen. Switch the scope between **Global**, **Asset** (the market you're viewing), and **Following**. You can pop the panel out into its own window.

## Copy a trade

Every trade in the feed shows the trader, market, side, and size. Tap **Copy Trade** to open that market's order form. Find traders to follow on the [Leaderboard](/social/leaderboard-and-profiles). Check the side, size, and leverage before placing the order. On iOS, when the trader exits, **Copy Close** closes your copy.

## Trade the news

Headlines in **News** link to the markets they mention, so you can open a trade straight from a story. On iOS, tap the gear in **News** to turn on:

* **Quick trade:** trade from a headline in one tap.
* **Use max leverage:** quick trades use the market's maximum multiplier.
* **Ticker pairs:** map your own keywords to tickers, so matching headlines link to that market.

<Warning>**Use max leverage** makes every quick trade as risky as possible. Leave it off unless you mean it.</Warning>

## Earnings and events

The [Calendar](/calendar/earnings-and-events) lists upcoming earnings and economic releases, with a **Trade** button for earnings you can trade on Liquid.
