New to prediction markets? Start with How prediction markets work.

Find a market

On Home, swipe to the Predict page. Browse Trending Predictions, Live Games, and Up Down, or filter by category. You can sort by Featured, Volume, or Ending soon.

Buy shares

1

Open the market

Tap a market to see the question, the current price of each outcome, and the chart.
2

Pick an outcome

Tap Yes or No. The price is what you pay per share, from 1¢ to 99¢.
3

Enter an amount

Enter how much to spend. The minimum is $10 and can be higher for some markets or whole-share sizes. The screen shows the minimum, how many shares you get, and what they pay if you’re right.
4

Confirm

On iOS, use Slide to buy. On web, click the buy button.

Use a limit price

Instead of buying at the current price, you can set the most you’re willing to pay. Choose how long the order stays open:
  • Good ‘Til Canceled: stays open until it fills or you cancel it.
  • Immediate or Cancel: fills what it can right away and cancels the rest.
  • Post Only: only rests on the book, so it never fills against an existing order.

Cash out

Open your position and tap Cash Out to sell your shares before the event resolves. The Cash out now screen shows estimated proceeds. Use Slide to sell to close at market, or choose a limit price. After resolution, winning shares pay $1 each to your Liquid balance. Each buy and sell pays Liquid’s 0.90% prediction market fee (0.81% with a referral code).

Up Down markets

Up Down markets ask whether an asset will be higher or lower at the end of a short window, such as 15 minutes. A new window opens as soon as the last one closes, so there’s always one to trade.
