Non-custodial by design

Liquid never holds your funds. When you sign up, Liquid creates a wallet that only you control, and every trade and transfer is signed from it. Liquid can’t move your funds. When you connect Co-Invest or trade, orders run through an approved trading key (an agent wallet) that can place orders but can’t withdraw funds. Liquid has been audited by Zellic. Read the report on liquid.trade/audits.

What connected apps can and can’t do

When you connect Co-Invest to an AI assistant, Liquid, or Chrome, you grant a scoped OAuth permission:
  • Can: read your portfolio and market data, and prepare orders that you confirm.
  • Can’t: withdraw or transfer funds out of your wallet, change your account settings, or send an order without your confirmation.
To revoke access, remove the connector in that app.

Official domains

liquid.trade and its subdomains (app.liquid.trade, docs.liquid.trade, coinvest.liquid.trade) are the only official Liquid domains. Liquid is not affiliated with Liquid Brokers, liquidmarkets.org, or the former Liquid exchange (Quoine). Liquid will never ask for your passkey, seed phrase, or password.

Lock the iOS app with Face ID

Face ID is on by default. To change it, open Settings (the gear icon on Home or Profile), tap your avatar row (Account & Settings), and toggle Face ID Enabled. When the app is locked, you can unlock it with Face ID or log out.

Export your private key

You can export your wallet’s private key at any time and use it in any compatible wallet.
Open Settings and tap Export Wallet. You confirm with Face ID first, even if the app lock is off.
Anyone with your private key can move your funds. Never share it, and never enter it on a site you don’t trust. Liquid support will never ask for it.

Recover your wallet

If you lose access to your sign-in method, contact support or go to recovery.liquid.trade, or on web open Settings → Help → Recover your wallet.

Control what others see

Your trades appear on your public profile and in the feed. To choose how your identity shows up, open Public profile identity in Settings → Account (web) or Account & Settings (iOS).
