Permissions

The first time you connect, a Liquid sign-in page opens in your browser. You approve two permissions:
  • read: market data, your portfolio, and account state.
  • trade: placing and managing orders, each one confirmed by you.
The connection can’t withdraw or transfer funds or change your account settings. To disconnect, remove the connector in your assistant’s settings.
Only approve access on a page at app.liquid.trade whose app name matches the assistant you’re connecting. Never add the Co-Invest address to an app or site you don’t recognize.

Troubleshooting

Check that you used https://coinvest.liquid.trade/mcp. If your client cached a failed attempt, remove the connector and add it again.
Less common MCP clients show this warning. Continue only if the page is on app.liquid.trade and the app name matches the client you’re connecting. If anything looks off, stop and connect from ChatGPT or Claude instead.
Your account either isn’t funded yet or hasn’t approved its trading key. Co-Invest tells you which and walks you through it: usually a deposit or a quick approval in the browser.
